They also clearly need a sturdy place to sit - not sure I want to put them on my tv stand where my 24s are currently located. Online reviews of PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells are mostly positive, with customers noting that the weights are durable, easy to adjust, and great for saving.

It doesn't seem like it will be super fast to adjust the adder weights so I'll probably have to pick some weights (and keep my 3, 5, and 10 free weights handy for lower level stuff). Each PowerBlock has color coded side rails on the weight plates that correspond to an easy. Built primarily to last, the Powerblock dumbbells reflect this with their 10 yr warranty, which is quite impressive for a set of adjustable dumbbells. The rubber handles on my dumbbells got worn so quickly and completely lost their grip making it tough to use.

I did an upper body work out yesterday, and today is supposed to be Abs, so I'm just leaving them sit for the moment. I had previous Powerblocks with no issues but the newer ones are not made as good and the customer service is non existent. I haven't done anything with them other than carry them downstairs. 2 reviews of Powerblock Discovered PowerBlocks adjustable weight dumb bells on the same day that I learned my local gym was closing indefinitely to prevent. There are 2 2.5 lbs 'adder' weights in the white handles - they can be added/removed by moving the handle to the "Open" position.

They are the "Classic Personal Trainer" ones - so I don't think they're sold on the main PB website anymore and probably why I was able to get a sale price. They arrived a day early! (the poor UPS guy carried both boxes at once).
